2007-2008
season Please note that we are unable to open for the summer concerts. Once again we would like to express our thanks on behalf of the school, its students and parents, to everyone who has parked with us through this 'thin' rugby season, to our "regulars", to those who have passed our name on to friends and clubs, to all who have again made this initiative so successful and together raised £8,165.10 directly for school funds. Our parent-stewards as ever add their thanks for the friendliness and good humour which you have invariably shown, which have made their task that much more rewarding. All our takings do go directly to the school and its expressed needs, providing facilities additional to normal educational funding. We hope that some of you may have seen the minibus purchased from previous year's takings, and have used facilities, picnic benches etc, which have also been purchased through this initiative. Liz, who has 'master-managed' the initiative for the past several years, and Peter, who has run the website and bookings system since its inception, are now moving on; and we would particularly like to take this opportunity of expressing our thanks to everybody, to our patrons for their forbearance, to our team of fellow-parents for their loyalty. We look forward to our successors enjoying the same goodwill and success. Thank you . We look forward to seeing you again next season. |

Orleans
Park School offers secure parking an easy walk from the RFU Ground and many
popular hostelries, yet at a convenient distance to avoid the pre- and post-match
traffic chaos. We're particularly well-placed for visitors from the north,
east and south. We are signposted in the local area.
Please scroll down this page for map and details of
how to find us, now including SatNav!
Parking is organised and stewarded throughout arrivals and departures by parents, and all proceeds are devoted directly to the school. There is parking for approximately 140 cars. Toilets are available on the premises.
We must advise you that our parking initiative is popular, and we do recommend that you book in advance to guarantee a space. Pre-booking is accepted in good faith: we do not make a charge for this service, but ask that if you pre-book you take up your space by a stipulated time or advise us if you plan to arrive later. You may do this by email in advance or on a mobile number for the match day. Thank you.
*Minibuses
are asked to email us directly with any available details of their vehicles.*
Vehicles are parked at their owner's risk. The school reserves the right
to refuse entry. The school gates will be locked for the duration of the match,
and will be locked at the times advised.

How to find Orleans Park School
SatNav For those of you blessed with every modern convenience, apparently all you need is our postcode -- TW1 3BB.
M3 coming from the West: the M3 runs into the A316, up onto the elevated section (waterworks on your right, dairy - note the cows on the roof - on your left, follow round as it bears right, then, if the traffic's looking heavy, take the second sliproad marked A312 (retail park, storage units, Wickes etc on the left), bear right under the flyover, then take first exit on your left A305 Staines Road, with McDonalds and Homebase on your left, and continue straight on, bringing you to Twickenham Green on your right, carry straight on into Twickenham, straight across the first set of lights (Marks & Spencer on your left), then into right hand lane to take the right fork at the next (central Twickenham) lights, along Richmond Road and look out for us on your right just after The Anchor pub, but before you get to The Crown pub; or, if the traffic hasn't yet bottled up, continue along the elevated A316 until it brings you down to the first roundabout and lights at Hospital Bridge Road; take the third exit, playing fields on your left, park on your right, down to the first set of lights, left into the Staines Road and straight on as above.
M4 coming from the West, come off at Junction 3, take A312 South, left at 1st roundabout onto A4 Bath Road, A4 Great West Road at 2nd roundabout, straight on until approaching Gillette Corner (Gillette building on left) take right hand lane, right at lights (Homebase on left), over railway bridge, down and across lights, bearing right to pass West Middlesex Hospital on your left, across St John's Road roundabout to lights at Isleworth War memorial; turn left and follow down St Margaret's Road, cross straight over the A316 roundabout (lights), follow our fluorescent signs up to St Margaret's Station, over the brow and facing St Margaret's Tavern, take right fork down Crown Road and turn right at the mini-roundabout in front of The Crown. Watch out for our gates almost immediately on your left.
From M40/A40 come in along Western Avenue, turn south to Greenford, then follow Osterley and this will bring you up to Gillette Corner: straight across at lights (Homebase on your left), and follow instructions above.
From North Circular Road, Central London and the East, take A4 westbound at the Chiswick flyover, stay under M4, follow past new SmithKline Beecham development on your right until you come up to Gillette Corner (Homebase on your left); left at lights and follow instructions above.
From South Circular A205, come off onto A316 at Chalker's Corner (by the cemeteries), follow Richmond to Kew Road roundabout, then, depending on traffic, either follow the main traffic flow (A316) across Twickenham Bridge, follow our fluorescent signs to turn left at first roundabout (lights) up to St Margarets Station, right fork down Crown Road, right at The Crown mini-roundabout, watch out for our gates almost immediately on your left, or make your way through the Richmond one way system, come out of Richmond up to the Odeon roundabout, right across Richmond Bridge, and follow as below.
From Richmond, over Richmond Bridge, continue through East Twickenham parade of shops, turn left at lights towards Twickenham (Richmond Road), follow round, past St Stephen's Church and Marble Hill Park on your left to the mini-roundabout in front of The Crown pub, our gates are about 50 yards beyond, on your left.
From Kingston and the South; either up through Ham and Richmond, turn left over Richmond Bridge and follow instructions above; or across Kingston Bridge and up through Teddington or Bushy Park to Twickenham; right at the lights as you come into Twickenham, then keep in right hand lane to turn right at the central Twickenham lights and along Richmond Road. Orleans Park School is on your right after The Anchor pub.
